Shofar

Shofar

Mohsen Sadeghzade

The shofar is traditionally used in Jewish religious ceremonies such as signaling the end of Yom Kippur (the holiest day for Jews) and is also played in synagogues. Made from a ram’s horn the Shofar comes in many different shapes and sizes depending upon the animal used and, like the bugle, requires lip control to create different tones.
